Nullfield — Privacy Policy

Effective date: 29 October 2026

Nullfield (“the app”) is a theremin simulator for Meta Quest, made by Ekrem Edali (KO48), the “developer”. This policy explains what data the app handles. In short: the app does not collect, send or sell any personal data.

1. What the app collects

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no online features. It does not connect to the internet and does not ask for the internet permission. The developer receives no data from the app.

2. Data that stays on your headset

The app stores a few things in its own private storage on your headset, only to work:

  • Settings (language, comfort, audio, assists, visual options).
  • Room state (where you moved the instruments and gear in each room).
  • Recordings you make with the in-game recorder (audio files of your own playing).

These files never leave the headset through the app. No one but you can access them through the app.

3. Hand and head tracking

To let you play, the app reads the position of your head, hands and fingers, or your controllers, from the headset in real time. This data is used only from frame to frame to make the sound and to draw your hands. It is not stored and not sent anywhere.

The app does not use the microphone, the cameras (passthrough images are shown by the headset’s system; the app cannot read them), eye tracking, face tracking or your location.

4. Meta

The app is distributed through the Meta Horizon Store. Meta may collect data about your use of its store, platform and devices under its own privacy policy (https://www.meta.com/legal/privacy-policy/). The developer does not receive that data from the app.

5. Deleting your data

All of the app’s data is stored only on your headset. To delete it, uninstall the app (on the headset: Library → Nullfield → ⋯ → Uninstall). This removes the settings, room state and recordings. Because the developer holds no data about you, there is nothing to delete on the developer’s side; you are welcome to ask (see section 7).

6. Children

The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

7. Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Questions or requests: email hi@ko48.com.
